JESUS is the Answer for solving life’s problems

And I wish to say that you have chosen the best and greatest thing to do in life, by deciding to read this good news. This is good news indeed because it carries the power that can change your life totally and beyond description.
You see, just as food is the cure for hunger and water, the solution to thirst, so is Jesus Christ the only answer to life’s problems. This is not a religious statement but an undisputable fact that you can prove like many others have discovered. The truth is, no matter our positions in life, none of us is competent enough to manage his life adequately and successfully. With all the intellectuals and experts in every area of human endeavour and international cooperation, yet, the world is brought to stand still for lack of what is to be done from time to time by heart breaking economic and political problems, increased violence, insecurity, rising tide of terrorism, wars and conflicts in many areas besides even natural disasters?
You can still remember vividly the effect of terrible COVID-19?

The question we must ask is:  Why all these crisis and problems?
The answer is that we have assumed too much control of our individual and collective lives and affairs at the expense of divine control.
The Bible says in Romans 1 verse 28 that:
‘Even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind to do those things that are not fitting or convenient.’

Proverbs 1:23-27, add ‘Because I have called and you refused, I have stretched out my hands and no one regarded, have disdained all my counsel, and would none of my rebuke or instructions, I also will laugh at your calamity, I will mock when your terror comes like a storm, and your destruction comes like a whirlwind, when distress and anguish come upon you.’

The problem is that:  Our foundation has been faulty
Psalms11:3, ‘If the foundations are destroyed, what can the righteous do?’ Without doubt, many of our values are selfish and are opposed to the principle of the ten commandments which God established for the good of all mankind.

We must realise that: We need a Master Builder

Because the scriptures says:
'Unless the Lord builds the house, they labour in vain who builds it; unless the Lord guards the city, the watchmen stays awake in vain. It is vain for you to rise up early, to sit up late and to eat the bread of sorrows.’

Psalms121:1. We must stop deceiving ourselves. God, who created the world and everything in it, in His unlimited wisdom and power, is the only One who is competent to direct our lives and affairs. We need Him in every aspect for true happiness and lasting peace. If it would be considered improper and even a criminal act, to seek medical help for the critically sick person from a competent motor mechanic, it would be considered worse for any of us to expect to manage and direct his efforts successfully without the All Sufficient God.
Dear friend, God is not responsible for our confusion and crisis. They are, rather, the rewards of man’s disregard for the commandments God established for our good.

 God Is our Maker and our Source, Genesis1:26-27, God said, ‘Let us make man in our own image, according to our own likeness. So that they may have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth, So God created man in His own image.’
Jesus said,’ I am the Vine, my Father is the vinedresser, every branch in me that does not bear fruit He takes away and every branch that bears fruits He prunes that it may bear more fruits for without me you can do nothing. This is the divine verdict. Without God we can do nothing enduringly successful. If God is not involved in any endeavour it will end up, sooner or later, in heartaches and regrets as we find in different relationships all over the world today.

Dear friend, can you see what I am saying? Every one of us must come to realise that, like branches of a tree, we cannot exist on our own. We must be permanent attached to our Maker in order to accomplish His plans for us.   

Divine Manual for our Total well being
Just as every manufacturer has detailed owner’s manual for his product to guide users in order to get the best from his appliance or commodity, God also has given us a comprehensive manual, the Holy Bible, to guide us to make the best of our lives here on earth and prepare for ourselves a better place in the world to come. The Bible is our solution Book. It contains answers to all our problems and challenges.
The Psalmist says ’Your word is a light unto my path and a lamp unto my feet.’ God commands that ‘this Book of the law must not depart out of our mouth but meditate on it always, for then we will make our ways prosperous and have good success.’ Our entire well being lies with God.

The Good News is that:  God has a wonderful plan for your life
Dear friend, God has been waiting anxiously for you to discover His great love for you and surrender your life completely to Him. He said ‘For I know the thoughts that I think towards you, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.’ For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.’

God has great and comprehensive plans for every one of us. Isaiah 49:15 said ‘Can a woman forget her nursing child, and not have compassion on the son of her womb? Surely, they may forget, yet will I not forget you.’ Jesus said I am come that they may have life and have it more abundantly. He came to give you real life, my friend. 

God’s Invitation to Salvation peace, power and progress
This is the message. God is calling you as recorded in Isaiah 26:20-21,
‘Come, my people, enter your chambers, and shut your doors behind you. Hide yourself, as it were, for a little moment, until the indignation is past. For behold, the Lord comes out of His place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity; the earth will also no longer cover her slain.’ The stack reality is that, the unbelieving, the unrepentant and disobedient will continue in unending anguish because the Bible says that the way of the ungodly is hard. But Jesus came to put an end to that. He came to save and set us free. I counsel you therefore friend, to turn to the Lord, today. Surrender completely to Him and you will be saved. God will give you His Spirit to live with and guide you in all areas of your life. It will open you to an all round victory in all your endeavours and to a lively, life-transforming and empowering relationship with the Almighty God. This is not a call to a religious association. Rather it is an invitation and initiation into the God kind of life, nature and power. The scriptures say, ‘As many as received Him to them He gives power to become the children of God, to those who believe in His Name.’

There is a power in the name and blood of Jesus that can break every chain of addiction and set free from the bondage of destructive inclinations and tendencies.

Take this important decision today. You can do so now if you will pray sincerely to Him to forgive and receive you into His family which was purchased by the precious blood of Jesus. Your sincere decision will usher you into a new life in Christ and the Holy Spirit will come to live in your heart to empower you begin a new and supernatural lifestyle. And you will be born again.

This is the greatest and most wonderful experience that can happen to anyone on earth. The attendant benefits are limitless but include peace, joy, power, divine presence, protection, guidance, healing and health. Your life will be changed. You will become an overcomer.

You can repeat this suggested Prayer of repentance and commitment to follow the Lord if you want the Him to save you now,

Heavenly Father, I thank you for your love for me. Thank you for your plan to save me from present and eternal suffering. I believe the good news that Jesus died to save me from sin and satanic activities. I accept Him as my Lord and Saviour as from this moment.
Empower me to follow you sincerely and seriously. Help me daily to walk steadfastly and progressively in my Christian life.
Thank you for hearing me. I believe that my sins are forgiven. I believe that I am now a child of God. I believe that I am empowered to overcome in every way every day of life in Jesus Precious name I pray. Amen.

Having made that decision, you need the following spiritual exercises to develop a strong, exciting Christ-like life and spiritual growth.
Seek God daily through:
1. Bible reading, Psalms119:9.
2. Pray regularly. Ask God for help and support for every aspect of your life. He wants to make life glorious for you. Hebrews 4:16.
3. Associate yourself with other like-minded believers for fellowship and spiritual edification from time to time, Acts 4:42.
4. More importantly, tell others at every opportunity what the Lord has done in your life.

Your progress and success depend seriously on these outlined spiritual
exercises.
